About Body Worlds

On Friday November 7th, Kim and I went to the Body Worlds Exhibit they have going up in SLC. It's an exhibit of actual Human bodies that have been donated to science for the purpose of study. Of course we couldn't actually take pictures, so they pictures in the slide show are from a book we bought about it. Almost all pictures were at the exhibit itself. They had tons but I just put in the cool ones. It was really amazing to see all the different parts that make us who we are. Even though Kim and I were hoping it would have been a little bit more graphic... I know were sick.. but that's Kim's field of work, and It intrigues me. If this exhibit ever comes your way it would be worth the price to go see it. Although it's not suitable for all kids, but that would have to be your call!

Meet our newest addition!

We would like to introduce to you the newest member of our family Roxy Jane! She is the cutest thing ever! Roxy is a year and half and is a ball of energy. We recently went on vaccation to Idaho at the end of August, and she came with us. We had a great time (more on that trip in a minute). Roxy's favorite thing to do is to take things she isn't supose to have and run around with them. For instance my cell phone, pens, papers, etc. anything so you chase her. She loves junk food! She is such a "Perry" as we like to say. Some of her favorites are carmels, liccorise, cool-whip, cookies and popsicles. And Roxy loves going outside on walks. We have to be careful with some words around her cause she knows what they mean..like walk, ride, outside and much more. She is very smart and VERY spoiled. Who would have thought we would become sooo attached to her. But than again, look at that face, isn't it cute! In September she had sugery to be fixed--and the orders were to keep her still and calm for 10 days-yeah, that didn't happen so much. By the second day she was itching to play. and by the third day we had to take her back in cause her wound area was opening, so they had to staple it shut, and she had to wear a collar, but we figured out a better way and wrapped the area with an ace bandage and put a sweater on her.
